The first predictions of radio
Long before an actual radio was made, the existence of radio was predicted. James Maxwell made the first predictions about radio in the 1860s, but it wasn’t known by this name until later. It wasn’t until over 30 years later that Guglielmo Marconi would start to create a ‘wireless telegraphy’ system to make use of these waves for communication purposes. It took the research of many scientists over these 30 years to make this possible.
